Shop Small this Christmas - and all year round!

With it being Black Friday week and all (boo!) and I wanted to share the love a little with a couple of gift guides for some smashing small businesses that I love!

1. Telling Tales is a subscription based bookshop specialising in illustrated books. Owner daisy is an ex-teacher who curates the most incredible and unique selection that you won't find in all the usual places. It's worth following her on Instagram for great tips on how to use picture books to help entertain and educate your children.

a folded stack of Helen Hancocks sweatshirts

2. Helen Hancocks is an illustrator and artist. Her children's picture book William and the Missing Masterpiece was a firm favourite in our house for several years (I even did all the accents) and her cat sweatshirts and T-shirts are the cutest. My 7 year old wears his on repeat!

Carla Murdoch Ceramics tableware

3. Carla Murdoch Ceramics Carla makes the most perfect tableware. There's not an element out of place in their elegant simplicity. They would grace any table, high or low. fun fact, she also has a house bunny!

Art Star London Shuko paper star kit

4.Art Star was born during the pandemic when Jo decided her office Christmas decorations needed a perk up. Now Jo designs gorgeous recycled paper decoration kits that you'll want to keep up all year round.

Orna hand painted candles

5. Meghan also started her business Orna during the pandemic. She sells the most beautiful hand painted candles which< I think you'll agree, are almost too beautiful to use!
